Plantados is a movie that depicts the horrors of political imprisonment in Cuba and brings justice to those Cubans who do not sympathize with the Castro regime for which they are besieged and condemned. The film recounts the most horrible tortures that these men preferred to suffer before negotiating with the Castro regime.
Plantados is directed by the well-known director Lilo Vilaplana, and the film has two stories as a plot line: a current one in Miami where an elderly political prisoner lives and discovers a henchman who tortures him in prison; and he begins to see all the abuses that were committed in those prisons from that perspective.
